It combines Ballance’s expertise in agricultural innovation, Pluck’s Engineering’s extensive experience in dairy effluent solutions and Southwater’s proficiency in high-capacity dewatering systems.

Rob Grant
Rob’s 30 years in dairy and seafood corporate roles, mainly in marketing and operations management, have given him a wide range of experience in New Zealand’s primary sector. Starting as a hands-on operator, he was soon moved to head office to focus on sales.
His experience includes five years in marketing roles in Asia, the Middle East and the USA. Since 2010, Rob and son Matt have grown Southwater into a specialist waste water dredging and treatment enterprise with repeat business across Council tenders, the food industry, viticulture and the farming sector. ReFlow is a seamless application of Southwater’s core expertise.

Matt Grant
Matt is an experienced dredging and dewatering gear operator, with valuable experience in water and wastewater treatment. A qualified Master Builder by trade, his building training combined with a practical mechanical aptitude have made him very effective in these roles.

Neil Pluck
Since purchasing the business from his parents in 2006, Neil has continued its legacy of innovation and quality in the agricultural sector. With a background in engineering and a commitment to practical solutions, he has overseen the development and manufacturing of a diverse range of agricultural machinery and effluent management systems.
The company's products are distributed across New Zealand and exported to countries such as Australia, Brazil, Chile, the UK, and the UAE.
